Access to Additional Lines
Many Small Businesses struggle to manage with just one Telephone Line but find the installation and additional line rentals costs of adding a second line difficult to justify.
The Small Business Solution from BluBel includes the ability to add lines, with no extra cost, via your broadband. This allows people to dial out when the main line is busy and can offer an alternative number for people to dial in when they can’t get through on your main number.
Individual numbers can be assigned to each phone, offering Direct Dial Numbers for each individual person without the cost of upgrading to ISDN2 lines and paying for DDI (Direct Dial Inwards). DDI is a chargeable service from BT that provides the same solution, i.e. individual numbers for each phone that can be called from outside of the organisation to reach staff directly, rather than having to go through a receptionist.
This is all made possible by the fact that the BluBel solution has an inbuilt capability to support SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) as well as analogue and ISDN2.
Access to More Regional Coded Numbers
Up to 6 additional numbers can be assigned to the BluBel Small Business System. Examples of how small businesses are using this capability to their advantage include:
- Providing staff with individual telephone numbers to enable direct contact as described above
- Allocating numbers to specific promotional campaigns to enable the monitoring of their success
- Dedicating individual lines and numbers to one or a group of people to separate out the billing of calls - useful for businesses who want to rent out rooms
- Using one phone to answer calls made to multiple numbers/businesses - useful when running multiple businesses from one location as it displays the business being called on the screen of the phone
Ability to send calls over your mobile
The BluBel Solution has the ability to connect to a mobile phone via Bluetooth. This offers two main benefits, the ability to save money on outbound mobile calls and answer your incoming mobile calls from your landline.
As you can send outgoing calls over your mobile network, there is the opportunity to utilise any spare free minutes available and avoid expensive mobile costs.
If you don’t have great reception coverage throughout your premises then you can leave your mobile somewhere that does have good reception and answer your mobile calls on a cordless phone that you can walk around the building with.
Missed Call and Message Notification
Each Phone can display missed call and message notification. In addition, should the office be unmanned you can opt to have a text message sent to your mobile. This message will include details of the person who called. Messages left on your voicemail system can be accessed from your mobile or any other remote phone.
The BluBel Solution includes 3 professional voicemail messaging boxes. Each one can be set up with a different message, send notification to handsets and mobiles and is accessible from anywhere.
Free Calls Between Sites
Should you have multiple sites, calls between them will be free of charge.
Should you require a reminder of the content of a call, conversations can be recorded by pressing a button on your phone whilst on a call.

The system can support up to 6 additional cordless phones ranging from entry level at £29 to top of the range Bluetooth enabled feature phones for £119.

Dial from Outlook
Integration with Outlook can be enabled in order to allow you to dial from your Outlook Directory.
Should you need to involve a third person on your call a conferencing facility is available.
Inbuilt Music on Hold is included.
